TIPS ON SUBMITTING A WINNING RFP (Three will be awarded)

1. Provide a localized plan indicating the area to be studied that locates it by jurisdictions, highway & street names, and some natural and built features (major land uses, and woods, fields, lakes, rivers, rail, etc.)

2. Scoring system for awarding the charrettes:

    • Points for the most jurisdictions partners included.
    • Number of assets of urban systems that the charrette area touches.
    • A commitment to use the regional tool for creating a shared understanding of the Metro Tri-plex presented in The Common Framework, developed by the West Michigan Strategic Alliance.
    • A commitment to use sustainable (triple bottom line) planning strategies.
